Cavenwell Group, the digitally enabled fiduciary firm focused on delivering bespoke wealth structuring and governance solutions to global families, is pleased to announce the appointment of Rory Forrest as General Counsel.
Rory joins in a fractional capacity, following a period of close collaboration with Cavenwell on a range of strategic legal and governance initiatives. With a background that spans private practice, in-house leadership, and international compliance, Rory brings a wealth of experience advising sophisticated clients on corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory matters.
He is the Founder and Principal of FractionGC, a consultancy providing senior legal support on a flexible basis to financial services organisations. A qualified Jersey Advocate (non-practising), Chartered Governance Professional (ACG), and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E), Rory most recently served as Chief Legal Officer at Mourant, where he led legal strategy across the group.
In this capacity, Rory will advise Cavenwell on a wide spectrum of legal and regulatory matters, including corporate governance, data protection, and strategic legal risk, ensuring the firm’s legal architecture continues to evolve in line with its international growth.
